* Statement regarding Screen Power Film Festival & Scream Power Horror Fest 2020/2021 showcase event *

Dear Filmmakers,

​

Thank you all so much for your patience thus far regarding details of our flagship event, and we hope that everybody has been keeping safe and well during these testing times. Due to current health & safety guidelines and travel restrictions within the UK, it is with great frustration that we are announcing the postponement of Screen Power Film Festival and Scream Power Horror Fest to early next year, 2022.

As an international film festival, the majority of the films selected in our opening season were produced by filmmakers living outside of the UK. In order to cater to all eligible filmmakers selected for screening and maintain inclusivity, the event will now take place at a time that is more attainable for those who wish to travel abroad. 

​

Although necessary, we cannot emphasise how tough this decision was to make, and we really do apologise to everybody who was excited to participate in the day’s festivities. But please… just hold on a little longer! Our team here at Screen Power is doing all that we can to provide filmmakers with an authentic live screening event, as promised, and we strongly believe that it’ll be worth the wait.

Screen Power Film Festival will align with our partner, Scream Power Horror Fest, which is set to take place the following day. Package deals and discounted tickets will be available to festival-goers who wish to attend the full weekend.
